Culver Interfaith Co-op – Hosting monthly meetings focused on learning about different religious traditions and belief systems, the Interfaith Co-op promotes shared values and understanding between students of varied beliefs and traditions.
Social Justice Alliance – A joint effort of the Culver Catholic Community and Culver Christian Youth, the Social Justice Alliance provides opportunities for Christian service to the Culver community and around Northern Indiana based on the message of the gospel.
Leadership Program – In addition to sponsoring formal positions within CGA and CMA’s leadership structure, Culver’s Spiritual Life Department works with the Leadership Department to oversee certain senior service practicums and provide leadership opportunities for students in all of our weekly services.
Teens in Christ – A weekly dinner gathering for students to learn more about the Catholic faith and how it applies to their lives today. Other group gatherings include special events like off-campus concerts, retreats, movies, service projects, and social events aimed to help Catholic students grow in faith, service, and fellowship.
Sacramental Preparation – Spiritual Life Staff lead preparation classes for students to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, First Eucharist, or First Reconciliation. Students will receive the sacraments on campus during the school year.
Liturgical Ministry – Students assist during weekly Mass by acting as lectors, altar servers, and extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, cross bearers, and gift bearers. Students are required to complete training for certain positions.
Catholic Music Ministry – Instrumentalists and singers lead music during the weekly Mass, on Holy Days of Obligation, and other important celebrations for the Catholic community. Involves one evening rehearsal per week in addition to Sunday Mass. Musicians of any skill level are welcome.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes - This discipleship and outreach ministry on campus uses the shared experience of sports and athleticism to bring students together in order to teach them about Christ and how to share their faith with their team and peers.
Praise Band - Students join together to sing or play instruments in order to assist with leading worship music during the weekly chapel service. Involves one evening rehearsal per week in addition to Chapel Service. All levels of musical ability are welcome.
Chapel Volunteers - Students assist during weekly chapel service by serving as leaders for the Call to Worship, readers of Scripture, greeters, and communion ministers. Students are asked to complete a short training.
Bible Studies – Six week scripture studies based on different topics and books of the Bible aimed at increasing students’ knowledge of the Bible and its relevance to their lives.
Community Groups - Community groups are small groups of students led by an adult facilitator. Separated by gender and grade level, these groups seek to increase the faith of the students who participate while reflecting on life experiences to bring the group closer together
The Narrative - A ministry on campus for students interested in learning more about the Bible. Students meet weekly to discuss Scripture and learn about the Christian faith
