On a typical day, students wake at 7:00 AM and have their personal and room inspections. Boys have a military formation before breakfast, while girls head to breakfast independently. The class day, starting at 8:30 AM and ending at 3:45 PM, comprises four separate blocks with a lunch period and teachers’ office hours baked in. Athletic and co-curricular time start after classes and run until 6:00 PM, after which is dinner and free time. A required study period starts at 7:30 PM and ends at 9:30 PM, with lights out shortly thereafter at 10:15 PM.

There are no classes on Saturdays! Students sleep in, hang out with friends, visit the town of Culver for shopping, and attend social events. In-season student-athletes often have games, matches, or meets on Saturdays. We dedicate time on Sundays to many of our spiritual-life services, boys’ military parades, dorm and uniform inspections, as well as several hours of free time.

Delicious and diverse! Our dining partner, Flik, offers a wide variety—from hot meals and soups to salad and sandwich bars. Even picky eaters find something they love. Plus, The Shack (our on-campus restaurant) serves up sandwiches, pizzas, shakes, and more.
