Advanced Placement and Honors Courses
All AP Courses in Humanities are four terms in length and satisfy all 12th grade requirements for students; no additional course within humanities is required.
Two different honors offerings that receive humanities credit. Honors in Humanities, a two-term research course, satisfies the two-term research seminar requirement. Therefore, honors in humanities candidates would be required to take a course that satisfies the literature requirement. Honors in Creative Writing, a four-term non-solid, satisfies the literature component. Students interested in honors in creative writing would, therefore, be required to take a research seminar elective.
