The Arts Abound at Culver Academies
Culver students learn to comprehend the world in many ways – and there is no more authentic instruction in both personal and intellectual development than the study of visual art, music, dance and theatre.
We offer studio courses in every discipline, from painting, acting, dance and music ensembles, to history and theory courses. Students perform, create and connect to each other and the greater school community through their unique artistic exploration.
Students explore personal expression through drawing, ceramics, photography, painting, sculpture, art history and more in this self-directed program.
Whether beginning musicians or advanced performers, Culver students find diverse opportunities to develop their musical interests and skills.
Culver’s audition-based performing group, Dancevision, and curriculum dance workshops and courses instruct dancers in ballet and pointe, contemporary and jazz movement.
Students perform every role in two major annual stage productions, as well as more intimate productions, including stage and camera acting, scene work, set building, dancing and singing.
