Chief Academic Officer
With a rich variety of offerings, including twenty Advanced Placement courses and electives in every discipline, Culver's curriculum is designed to meet the needs and cultivate the interests of virtually any student.
Based on the notion that authentic learning takes places only in carefully structured blocks of time, Culver's curriculum unfolds in an environment in which students focus intensively on three or four subjects in a given term, allowing for deep learning as well as broad exploration.
High Challenge, High Support
Expectations are high, but so is support. Academic and college advisors and other learning experts work directly with students, residential counselors and faculty to ensure that each student is inspired to realize his or her fullest potential. And the Chief Academic Officer works closely with the Dean of Faculty to ensure that Culver's generous professional development resources challenge and support faculty members in the same way.
