Founded in 1925 the Culver Summer Schools Alumni Association was organized "to promote the general welfare of Culver Summer Schools." In the 21st Century, the CSSAA, with 20,000 members (including the Culver Legion), is reaching the potential Leigh Gignilliat, Culver's 4th Superintendent, charged them with upon their creation [of the Culver Legion], "to become a powerful influence . . . active, united, with wholehearted cooperation . . . and to constitute one of the most influential alumni bodies . . . in the world."
