Woodcraft Camp

Electives

One of Woodcraft Camp's core aspects is the class program. Monday through Friday campers receive formal instruction during five class periods; three classes meet in the morning and two classes meet after lunch in the afternoon. Each single class is 45 minutes in length.

The six weeks of camp are divided into three trimesters, each being two weeks in length. Each trimester a Woodcrafter may take three to five classes, depending on whether they are single or double periods. Most classes are one-trimester classes, but some are two- or three-trimesters. For example, all academic classes are three-trimesters. In a given summer, a Woodcrafter may experience anywhere from seven to fifteen different classes. Woodcraft Camp offers over 80 different classes, so there will always be new experiences as your child progresses through his/her summers at camp.
