Within the camp limits are athletic fields, groves of large trees and broad green lawns.

HISTORY

Family Camp was established in 1968 to encourage alumni to return to their "former lives" and introduce their children to Culver's programs. It was discontinued in 1987 due to conflicts with public school starting dates.

When Specialty Camps were reduced to one week in 2008, Family Camp was re-established to again provide alumni and new families the opportunity to have a shared Culver expierence and to take advantage of the Academies' notable physical plant and enjoy the many amenities it has to offer.
