Residents of Laredo Texas, Ohio, Oklahoma, or age 13+ with musical talent.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP

Follow the directions below to fully apply for a scholarship. Follow up with Culver to make sure your application is complete. (summer@culver.org | 800-221-2020)

1. APPLY TO CAMP

Before you begin the Scholarship process, please apply to camp. Complete the online application and pay the $300 Application Fee. Within the application, choose "Yes" to the question, "Do you request Financial Aid Forms?" Have two teachers complete the Applicant Evaluation forms provided with the application. Have them mail or fax the forms directly to Culver.

2. APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP

Choose the appropriate scholarship listed on this page. Download and print the Summer Merit Scholarship Application. Complete the form and return it to Culver by mail or fax (574) 842-8462. Have a third teacher/principal/band director complete the scholarship evaluation form and send directly to Culver by mail or fax. Scholarship paperword is due by March 15. You should complete this application soon after applying to camp.

3. APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID

A request for Financial Aid is not required by Scholarship applicants, although it is recommended. If your intentions are primarily need-based, applying for Financial Aid in addition to the Scholarship will provide you with a better chance of receiving some type of an award. When you receive the email with the Financial Aid papers, complete all forms and return them to Culver promptly. Follow the instructions provided, which are also posted online. Financial Aid paperwork is due by March 15.
