How to get to Culver:

From the northwest (Chicago, Wisconsin)

Exit I-80 to I-65 south
Exit I-65 to US 30 east at Merrillville.
Go east on US 30 toward Plymouth (about 55 miles).
As you approach Plymouth, you cross a railroad track and there is a stop light (Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Wendy's, Bob Evans), this is Oak Road. Turn south (right) on Oak Road.
After a stop sign, a stop light and a blinking red light, Oak Road connects with Indiana 17.
(If you stay on US 30 to the Indiana 17 exit, you will go through Plymouth, but on the south end of Plymouth there is a railroad underpass that is too low for trailers and shells on vans.)
Travel 13 miles on Indiana 17, to the intersection of Indiana 10 (Culver bowling alley, Abad & Epley Realtors).
Turn left (east) on Indiana 10 to either go the gymnasium for lodging (turn right prior to the baseball diamond) followed by a left turn through a gateway (the large brick building on the right is the gymnasium, the front entrance is facing the chapel),
or to the intersection of Indiana 117 if going directly to the Crew Shed. The Crew Shed is a white metal building on the lake shore, that is visible from the intersection of Indiana 10 and Indiana 117.

From the south (Indianapolis) north or east (Michigan or Ohio)

Exit US 31 at the flashing yellow light at Argos (Amoco/McDonalds) on to Indiana 10.
Travel 10 miles on Indiana 10, to the west.
Turn left (south) on Indiana 117 (tennis courts, football field) if going directly to the Crew Shed,
or continue to the gymnasium for lodging (turn left after the baseball diamond) followed by a left turn through a gateway (the large brick building on the right is the gymnasium, the front entrance is facing the chapel).
