Debbie Turner joined the Culver Academies' Student Life staff as counselor of Ciel Dorm in December, 1999. She earned her Associates of Arts Degree in Nursing from Los Angeles Valley College in 1979, followed by the completion of her BSN at Indiana University, South Bend in 1998. She is currently the adult sponsor for the CGA Communication Prefects.

During Term I, she also teaches the "Orientation to Culver," Leadership I class.

Prior to arriving at Culver, she worked as a registered nurse in ICU, CCU, and Cardiac Rehabilitation for twenty years in several hospitals around the country, the latest being St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

She has two children, O'Neal III, '00 and Ashley, '03.
