Carla J. Pennebaker joined the Culver Academies' Student Life Department in the fall of 2006. Prior to arriving at Culver Academies, she worked as an Admissions Manager for a corporation in California for five years which required working closely with the hospitals helping to find placement for the patients requiring rehab/ long term care needs. She earned a Licensed Vocational Nursing degree in 1975 as well as an Associate Degree in Science. Her experience is broad working with registries, hospitals, clinic's, and home care. For a period of five years she also worked for the Department of Corrections in two male facilities in California as a medical/peace officer/ custody capacity. Ms. Pennebaker is now a Resident Director in Tower Dorm and joins her sister, Linda Troutman, who is the Resident Director in Atrium.
