Beth Schmiedlin joined the Culver Academies' Student Life Department in 1997. She is currently the counselor for Tower Dorm. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Business and English Writing from Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN, in 1989. She went on to earn a master's degree in Nutrition from New York University in 1993 and became a registered dietitian. In addition to her counseling responsibilities, Mrs. Schmiedlin serves as the sponsor of the CGA Wellness Prefects.

She is married to the Ninth grade Humanities Coordinator, J.J. Schmiedlin and they have three young sons, Jack, Patrick and Connor.
