Laura Weaser joined Culver Academies as a CGA counselor in January 1983. She was appointed as the assistant dean of girls in 1986 and continued in that position until the Student Life Department was established in 1990. At that time she assumed the role of assistant dean of students and was involved with the daily administration of both CMA and CGA. In 1996, she was appointed as dean of students and remained in that position until 2002 when she was appointed as Dean of Girls. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from the University of Iowa and her Master’s degree in Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Dean Weaser holds the Harold C. Bays endowed chair for leadership and she serves on numerous campus committees. She has previously taught physical education and leadership in addition to coaching swimming and basketball. Her husband, Guy, teaches in the mathematics department and is the head rowing coach. They have two children.
