Sgt. Maj.Camillo Morales Cabrera
Counselor, Company CSergeant Major Camilo Morales Cabrera joined the Culver Academies' Student Life staff in November 2008. Prior to his arrival as counselor of Company C, he was a member of the Military Activities Department. He retired from the United States Army on June 1, 2007 after 22 years of service. He earned a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey. SGM Morales is a graduate of the Primary Leadership Development Course (Honor Graduate), the Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course (Commandant's List), the Master Fitness Course, the Drill Sergeants Course (Distinguished Honor Graduate), and the Sergeants Major Academy (54).
While in service, SGM Morales held every enlisted position from Squad Leader to Operations Sergeant Major of a Cavalry Regiment. He was also an instructor of the Primary Leadership Department Course where he taught leadership, team-building, counseling, drill and ceremonies, and physical training to soldiers aspiring to be leaders. He later became the Deputy Commandant of the Fort Knox NCO Academy.
He is the coach of the marksmanship team and assists the JV/Varsity baseball teams. SGM Morales and his wife, Gloria, have two children, Jackeline and Xavier.
