  Randy Minas Receives McDonald Watch
 

     The recipient of the McDonald Award, Randall Minas of Company A was the cadet who exerted the greatest cultural influence on the Corps of Cadets. He also received the Charles C. Mather Award for outstanding performance in the theater.  

      A four-year student, Minas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Minas Sr. of Crown Point, Ind.

     Minas has earned two Gold A’s and five Silver A’s. He also was a recipient of The President’s Education Award.

     Outside the classroom, Minas held several student leadership positions and was secretary of his sophomore class. He was a member of the Latin Club and the Campus Activities Board. He was a member of the tennis team and student manager of the girls’ basketball team. 

     This fall, Minas will be a freshman at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
