Twenty-one
seniors and first classmen were invited to join
the Culver Chapter of the Cum Laude Society
during the 2000-2001 school year. Those
selected—nine cadets and 12 girls from—were
honored at a scholarship banquet during Spring
Parents Weekend.
Founded
in 1906, the Cum Laude Society’s purpose is to
recognize academic excellence in secondary
schools. Membership is restricted to students in
the top 20 percent of their senior class and is
determined by a vote of each chapter’s faculty
committee. Those students named for 2000-2001
