On June 9 and 10, The Culver Academies will host approximately 100 teams and 1,000

basketball players from throughout the Midwest, competing in the American Youth Basketball Tournament (AYBT).  This is the tour's 6^th season, with competitions in 15 states, primarily in the Midwest.  Each team in the tournament plays five to six games throughout the two days, whether they win or lose.  As the AYBT website stresses, “structured playing time to improve team skill level” is its  mission.  The Tour offers many benefits for teams who participate:

·      All games are played in a structured environment under the guidance of 

        coaches and referees.

·      School benefit--the tour is an excellent chance for younger players to develop basketball skills.

·      Throughout the summer, each team is guaranteed 15 to 33 games.  

         Packages are available to fit any schedule.

·      All teams go to Nationals and compete at their level.

The grade divisions for the Culver tournament are:

·        Boys 6^th

·        Boys 6^th/7^th

·        Boys 8^th

·        Boys 8^th/9^th

·        Girls 6^th/7^th

·        Girls 8^th/9^th

·        Girls Varsity
