Resident Director (RD)
Female Student Dormitory

Position: 10 Month hourly full-time position.

Hours of Work: Must be available to work flexible hours including, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. 

Responsibilities: The Resident Director is a live-in staff member who works with the counselor to ensure the well being of the students in her dormitory. The Resident Director has primary responsibility for overnight supervision of the students in the dorm. The Resident Director also aids the counselor in leadership assignments and attending dorm committee meetings. Other responsibilities include the written accountability of student leaves, permits and sign-out sheets. They assure wardrobe compliance and proper study conditions are maintained. They are also responsible for the building condition, security, and the safety of their assigned dormitory. 

Job Requirements: The successful candidate will be caring, mature and thoroughly enjoy interacting with high school age students. They must possess a High School Diploma and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with Academy Staff, the students, and parents. The Resident Director is required to reside in their assigned dormitory (private apartment).
