Washer/Dryer Operator

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include the ability to perform physical labor and heavy lifting duties (50+lbs on a regular basis), the pick up and delivery of laundry bags to students and various departments on campus, and the operation of washers and dryers; weighing laundry, selecting correct setting and temperature of wash cycle and transferring laundry to and from washer and dryer equipment. The successful candidate will also have the ability to perform light maintenance on washers and dryers. 

Job Requirements:

The requirements for this position include possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Indiana driver’s license with a safe driving record, and the ability to successfully pass Culver Educational Foundation’s mechanical skills test. Additionally, applicants must be able to drive a one-ton box truck with lift, lift 50+lbs on a regular basis, and be willing to work flexible hours during special events and the busy summer season which may include holiday, weekend, and evening hours.
