The Culver Academies and Culver Summer Camps seek a caring professional with unique expertise in supporting adolescents for the position of Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This professional will serve Summer Camps and Winter School. Student population is international and diverse. 

Responsibilities include: 
• provide short-term support for students using creative therapeutic modalities for reaching adolescents who may have difficulty connecting with supportive adults; 
• utilize sand tray therapy; 
• coordinate and review evaluative data from outside professionals; 
• nourish healthy interaction between students, faculty and staff; 
• teach mental health issues within the classroom;
• offer educational in-services to residential staff; 
• provide crisis intervention for students as needed; 
• facilitate student groups relating to mental health issues; 
• coordinate mental health programs on campus; 
• foster supportive and collegial teamwork with professional staff; 
• complete special projects as assigned. 

Responsibilities require excellent writing skills, innovative program development strategies, superior competence in assessment, sharp organization/time management skills, and dynamic communication techniques for individual, small and large group settings. 

The successful candidate will be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and be willing to obtain Indiana Licensure; Sand Tray Therapy training/certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain. Professional memberships preferred. Full-time (12 month) position begins mid-June 2008. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience. This position requires professional to reside in Culver, Indiana. Employer will assist with relocation costs.
