RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a full-time, twelve month position that requires some (as Admission Counselor) or substantial (Assistant Director) admissions experience in a Boarding School, College, or other similar selective enrollment educational environment. This position will work closely with the Director as one of 9 admissions professionals who work as part of a team of 13 a team to achieve positive enrollment goals for Culver a co-educational (9th-12th) boarding school of 785 students (335 girls and 450 boys). She/He will also be involved with assisting the Director in the recruitment of a diverse and qualified student body by being responsible for a specific region for the United States and abroad. The Director will also assign specific recruitment responsibilities to this individual who will assist/manage in one or more of these major admissions areas including inquiry generation, application processing, marketing/recruitment, international recruiting, Open Houses and special projects. The successful applicant will work with families to inform, admit, and enroll their children to Culver. She/He must be willing to travel to both national and international locations as needed to assist Culver Academies increase its reach to new families across the nation and around the world.


REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as they must be able to effectively communicate with parents, their children, alumni, schools, associations, and independent educational consultants Culver Academies mission and unique programs. Additionally, the successful candidate will be proficient in a modern computerized office environment and skilled in the management of people and processes. A bachelor’s degree is required and Master’s degree is preferred.
