Associate Director of Admissions
Culver Academies (Winter School) Admissions
January 14, 2008

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a full-time, twelve month position that requires substantial admissions experience in a Boarding School, College, or other similar selective enrollment educational environment. This position will work closely with the Director as the senior admissions counselor on the staff. The Director will assign specific management responsibilities to this individual for one or more of these major areas including admission processing, marketing/recruitment, international recruiting, or special projects. She/He will also be involved with assisting the Director in the recruitment of a diverse and qualified student body by being responsible for a specific region for the United States and abroad. The successful applicant will work with families to inform, admit, and enroll their children to Culver. She/He must be willing to travel to both national and international locations as needed to recruit their region successfully.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), strong administrative, management and organizational skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills as they must be able to effectively communicate with parents, their children, alumni, schools, associations, and independent educational consultants. Additionally, the successful candidate will be proficient in a modern computerized office environment and skilled in the management of people and processes.
