Dear Court Alumnae & Parents!

For the third year the members of the Court community adopted a family for Christmas. Buying toys, clothes, and groceries is a valuable learning experience, but it also is an opportunity for the young women to see how wonderful it is to help others. The Christmas tree in Court looked a little bare after the winter break this year, because the hats, gloves, mittens and scarves that had filled it with warmth and color were now being worn by the boys and girls at the local elementary in their after school program. We truly are learning the importance of taking care of others and sharing with those less fortunate. Court girls know how good it feels to help others, and they know why it’s important. What they may not always know is where you come in, and the help they get at the Academies from The Culver Fund.

But I know. Whether it’s that extra bit of care and support they receive from Ms. Gilliland, their resident director, the financial aid that allows them to continue their Culver education, or even something as simple as returning from a vacation to freshly-painted halls, The Culver Fund touches every aspect of all our girls’ lives, and allows them to focus on their Culver experience.
