Dear Band Alumni & Parents!

The cadets in Band continue to live up to the oft-repeated affirmation that “Band is best!”

Despite the demands of the Culver Annual Review, not to mention classes, athletics and life, several cadets have performed as soloists or members of ensembles, winning gold medals and a chance to compete at the state level. Bandsmen were great hosts for the 36th annual Military School Band Festival. While not required to participate, 15 cadets were in festival bands or in the drum major competition.

In addition to showing remarkable leadership within the unit itself, Band cadets are also doing so within the Squadron battalion as well as on the Regimental staff.

Everyone knows it’s not a parade without a band. And Band is not Band without the assistance of The Culver Fund. Some of our musicians who lend their talent and leadership to the Band are here thanks to the financial aid The Culver Fund supports.

The Culver Fund also supports the salaries of the faculty and staff members who teach, coach, and mentor the cadets. Every aspect of a Band cadet’s education, from instruction down to equipment, is supported in some way by The Culver Fund.

Your gift to The Culver Fund is vital to every student on campus, but is especially key to keeping the Band sounding so good.
