Karla Hernandez joined the Culver Academies International Advancement office in 2005. Karla attended Summer Camp in 1981. She joined the Summer Camp staff in 2003 where she worked for two summers as the International Student Coordinator.

Prior to coming to Culver, Karla worked as an educator in Mexico and served as a school administrator. She spent a semester in Florence studying Italian.

Karla was born and raised in Mexico City where she attended Hamilton School and Colegio del Bosque and then studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana receiving her degree in 1995.
