Jan Garrison joined the Communications Department in December 2000. He serves as the editor for the monthly electronic @Culver, coordinates Culver Academies’ sports coverage and contributes to the Culver Alumni Magazine.

A graduate of Indiana State University, Jan has spent the majority of his career working for area newspapers. He has received Hoosier State Press Association awards in news editing and writing, sports writing, and feature and sports photography. He also served as a congressional aide and a public relations specialist for the local hospital. He has served on the Marshall County Community Foundation, Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, Marshall County Council on Aging boards and the Plymouth City Council.

Jan and his wife, Crissie, live in Plymouth, and have three children: Cameron '10, Morgan '11, Keely '15.
