Lake Maxinkuckee, Indiana's second largest natural lake, affords the perfect opportunity to teach Culver students, summer and winter, leadership skills and technical prowess from the decks of its top-notch sailing fleet while at the same time adding one more difference-making item of distinction to their college applications.

Culver’s shooting sports facility is outfitted with everything needed for a safe, effective program that teaches proper respect and responsibility for firearms while honing students’ skills with a shooting range, high and low houses and sporting clay pigeon equipment.

Culver students have spent their spring breaks all over the world for more than two decades. The excursions provide service-learning and cultural exchange opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and patrons who have a desire to learn about another culture and to live responsibly as global citizens.
