During the academic school year from September through May, Culver Academies recognizes male and female athletes for outstanding achievement in interscholastic athletics. Head coaches from teams in season nominate athletes for the Athlete of the Month Award. These nominations are reviewed and a committee of coaches makes final selections. Those chosen to lead exemplify Culver's tradition of excellence as they lead by example in sportsmanship, individual and team skills, while serving as positive role models for others.
