John Kowlaski is entering his 11th season as the head coach of the Freshman/C-Team volleyball program for CGA. John previously had coached at the Jr High level for a few years before joining The Academies, and also played CYO ball at a much younger age. John states: "With the young players, it is more about mastering fundamentals and preparing the girls for the next level of competition, rather than the W/L record. We want to challenge the girls physically and develop their skills, but most of all, we want to ensure that the entire experience is fun! Culver can be an intimidating proposition for an incoming freshman, and as a dad (Katie '03, Adam SS '03, BB '06), I really do understand what they're going through."
