Megan Porter joined Culver Academies on September 14, 2009. She is the Director of Student Activities. She graduated from Culver Girls Academy in 1999. She then completed her Bachelor's in Family Studies from the University of Tennessee in 2004. Following college she spent two years at The Webb School, located in Bell Buckle, Tennessee. In the summer of 2009 Ms. Porter received a Master's of Education in School Counseling. In addition to her duties as the Director of Student Activities, Ms. Porter also oversees CAB and Beason Board.

Ms. Porter started out sailing with her grandfather as a child on Lake Maxinkuckee She went on to sail as a camper at Culver Upper Camp and came back as a basic sailing instructor for 3 years at Culver Summer Camps and Schools.
