Nestor Claudio Gauna joined the Culver Academies in 2008. With more than twenty-five years of experience in training and coaching polo players from throughout the world, Nestor Claudio Gauna is one of the country's foremost experts in polo instruction and horsemanship.

Prior to becoming the Varsity Girls Polo Coach at Culver, Mr. Gauna was the manager of Campo de Mayo Farm and Polo Club in Naperville, IL, where he also taught polo instruction to students of all ages. Many of his younger students have gone on to play polo at universities throughout the U.S., including Colorado State, University of Wyoming and University of Kentucky.

Mr. Gauna learned his craft in some of the most prestigious polo clubs in Argentina, where he was born and raised. He currently resides in Chicago with his wife and daughter.
