Dan Davidge
Dan Davidge joined the Culver community in 1994, bringing with him coaching experience at the junior and both the Division III and Division I college levels. A native of Dunnville, Ontario, he earned his undergraduate degree from Brock University in St. Catherines, Ontario, in 1986 and his master's degree from Miami (Ohio) University in 1988.
Prior to Culver, Davidge served as a Junior B coach in Dunnville and a graduate assistant for Miami. He also was the head coach of New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire, from 1988-90. At Culver, Davidge has been a unit counselor for male students in both Company A and now Battery A, in addition to serving as assistant dean of students from 1996-2000.
He has coached alongside coach Clark on the varsity bench since 1997 - more than twice as long as any other co-coach - and has been instrumental in the team's success both on and off the ice, including the 2002-03 season, when the Eagles set a program record with 38 wins. He has coached three players at Culver who have reached the National Hockey League.
He and his wife Carolyn have two daughters, Alexandra and Bridget, and a son, Michael. His older brother, Bill, is the former head coach of Miami University, a former scout for the National Hockey League's Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers and Columbus Blue Jackets and serves now as the radio color commentator for the Blue Jackets.
