Russ Bjornstad joined the Culver Academies’ Staff as an electrician in 1996.  Among other jobs he helped implement and then maintained the campus Preventative Maintenance Program for physical equipment.  He was also the administrator for the Johnson Controls Metasys Building Automation program.  In his spare time, he worked for the Fencing Team as the Armorer and provided sound, lighting and special effects for the Summer Camps Council Fire program .  He is a Navy veteran and served six years active during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Bjornstad retired from the Culver Academies in 2010.  He plans to continue serving the Fencing team and Summer Camps in the future.
