Derek Perkins joined the Culver Academies’ Admissions Department in 2008. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Indiana University in 1996. He then earned a master’s degree in Sport Studies from Miami University in 1999. Prior to Culver, Derek spent five years working in admissions and enrollment management in higher education. Derek lives in Culver with his wife Kimberly and their two daughters.

Derek assists families applying to Culver who live in the western states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
