A distinguished Merit Scholarship program for those applying to Culver Academies for the 2013-14 school year.

 Next March three exceptional freshmen and/or first-year sophomores boys, with a passion for the visual and performing arts, will learn that they have been selected for an educational experience second to none. The Huffington Scholars Program at Culver Academies will uplift them in mind, spirit, and body, as it prepares them for the finest colleges and universities and for a lifetime of principled leadership.

This merit-based scholarship is named in honor of Michael Huffington ’65, who is a Culver benefactor as well as a patron of the arts. The Huffington Scholars Program will eventually support 12 outstanding students at Culver. Potential recipients of the award will be incoming freshmen and sophomore boys. They will be recruited from the southern United States.

The Huffington scholarship is renewable annually. Recipients who continue to excel academically, as student leaders, and in extracurricular activities will each realize a total, four-year value in excess of $170,000.

To apply for a Huffington Scholarship:

Huffington Scholarship candidates that are selected as qualified candidates will be required to provide a portfolio or audtion, according to specified guidelines, (AVAILABLE SOON - please check back)
