A distinguished merit scholarship program for those applying to Culver Academies for the 2013-14 school year.

The Duchossois Family Scholars Program at the Culver Academies uplifts its merit scholars in mind, spirit, and body, as it prepares them for the finest colleges and universities and for a lifetime of principled leadership. Endowed by Craig Duchossois ’62 and Janet Duchossois of Chicago and the Duchossois Family Foundation, the program supports 16 outstanding students at Culver. The first Duchossois Scholars began their Culver careers in the fall of 2007.

The scholarship covers tuition, room and board, fees, uniforms, and books. It also includes educational enrichment opportunities, such as a service project during spring break of the sophomore year, and a community building and leadership experience in the summer before the senior year. The scholarship is renewable annually. Recipients who continue to excel academically, as a student leader, and in extracurricular activities will realize a total, four-year value in excess of $170,000.
