"Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more." These words from Tony Robbins effectively describe my experience and attitude towards being a merit scholar. I am forever indebted to the Batten family for the opportunities they have provided me with, and as a Batten scholar, I hope to utilize all that Culver has to offer in my short time here to grow and develop as a whole person.
