Meet The Faculty
Nathaniel King
Nathaniel King joined the Wellness Department as a Wellness Intern in August 2007 and returns for a second-year internship with that same department for the 2008-09 academic year. He teaches Foundations of Health Behavior and Kinesiology classes at the freshman and sophomore levels. Nathaniel has recently been working on developing the Kinesiology Curriculum with the support of other Wellness faculty and expects to have a new course book published this year. Additionally, Nathaniel served as a counselor during Culver Summer Camps in 2005.
Nathaniel earned his bachelor’s degree in the summer of 2007 from Saint Joseph’s College in Indiana with a concentration in both Physical Education and Biology. He also holds a national diploma in Sport Science from the United Kingdom.
Nathaniel’s extra-curricular activities consist of volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity, participating in the annual Multicultural Awareness Retreat (MAR), assistant coaching with the girls’ varsity soccer team during the fall and the boys’ and girls’ track and field team during the winter season at Culver.
A native of London, England, Nathaniel is the eldest brother of two sisters, N’dea (9) and Samantha (24).
