Meet The Faculty
Xénia Czifrík
Xénia Czifrík joined the Culver Academies' Science Department in 2004. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics from the Faculty of Science, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest, Hungary as well as a second bachelor's degree in English and Russian / Education from Teacher Training College, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest, Hungary.
Prior to arriving at the Culver Academies, she taught mathematics at Saint Ann's School, Brooklyn, NY. Her areas of study and teaching interests include physics and various levels of mathematics including pre-calculus honors. Ms. Czifrík currently teaches Physics.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Czifrík is a Bout Committee Chair, Assistant Coach and Armourer for the Fencing Team.
Ms. Czifrík is married to Mr. Chad Gard, who currently teaches Band, Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, and private lessons in Percussion and Music Composition.
