Meet The Faculty
Mark Prochaska
Mark Prochaska earned a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a master’s degree in Education from The College of William and Mary. He taught physics and calculus at James River High School in Midlothian, VA before continuing on to earn a Ph.D. in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University, where he did research in fuel cell electrocatalysts.
Dr. Prochaska joined the Culver Academies’ Science Department in 2007. He currently teaches Physics, Science Research Honors, and AP Physics C, and is director of the Barefoot Research Initiative in the Science Department.
