Jackie Carrillo joined the Culver Academies’ Department of Science in 2012.  She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colorado College and a master’s and Ph.D. in Chemical Oceanography from the University of Hawaii, Manoa.  Prior to teaching at Culver, Dr. Carrillo worked as a research scientist in the Atmospheric Science department at Colorado State University studying cloud and aerosol chemistry.  Dr. Carrillo teaches chemistry.
