Cory Barnes
Ms. Cory Barnes joined the Culver Academies' Academic Affairs Department, as well as the Department of Modern and Classical Languages, in 1992. She earned a bachelors degree in French from Bethany College in 1987. She earned her teaching certification from Denison University in 1991 and her MS in Special Education from Indiana University in 2002. In addition to her responsibilities as the Director of Academic Advising, Ms. Barnes currently teaches Honors French 3. She is active in the community as chair of the Learning Support Committee and the Academic Advising Committee and as a member of various other committees across campus. She is married to Humanities instructor Mitch Barnes, and together they have three children, Katie '09, Martin '12 and Hayes '14.
