Eric Drake joined the Culver Academies’ Mathematics Department in 2009. He is an ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate from Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Information Systems and a minor in Mathematics in 1989. He also earned his Master of Science in Operations Research and Applied Statistics from the University of Miami in 2000. Eric recently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army after 20 years of service.

In addition to his 5+ years as an Assistant Professor at the United States Military Academy, Eric has also taught at Bluefield State College (West Virginia), Bluefield College (Virginia), Mount Saint Mary College (New York), and University of Maryland (Kuwait) for a total of 12 years teaching experience at the College/University level.

He has been very happily married for 21 years and he and his wife Tammy have 4 children: Jarrod CMA '11; Joshua; Sarah Grace; and Rachel Faith.
