Audrey Bland

Audrey Bland joined the Psychological Services team in July 2010. She serves as one of the School Psychologists, and teaches the introduction to psychology course. Her primary responsibility is to provide learning supports to all students in need of additional assistance both inside and outside of the classroom. She also offers academic and behavioral consultation to teachers and parents, oversees all psycho-educational evaluation and accommodation initiatives, and provides crisis intervention. She serves as a member on Culver’s Learning Support Committee.

Audrey earned a B.A. in Psychology from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. She recently graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington where she completed her M.S. in Learning and Developmental Science and Ed.S. in School Psychology. Prior to coming to Culver she completed her internship in one of the largest school systems surrounding Atlanta, GA. She has an interest in the educational initiative of Response to Intervention (RTI), and has trained teachers and administrators on how to implement scientifically based class-wide, small group, and individual student interventions.
