Philip Szalwinski joined the Department of Modern and Classical Languages in the Fall of 2011 and the Ron Rubin School for the Entrepreneur in the Fall of 2012. Being a native of Austin, Texas did not keep him from quickly acclimating to the Midwest, where he earned two degrees from Northwestern University: a Bachelor of Music in Arts Management and a Bachelor of Arts in German. Exercising skills garnered from professors at Bienen, Weinberg, and Kellogg, he teaches Entrepreneurial Economics and German, coaches fencing, and gives private lessons on the bassoon.
