Meet The Faculty
Oliver Eaton
Oliver Eaton joined the Culver Academies in 2011 as a 10th grade Global Perspectives teacher, and will also be assisting in the theatre department. He is a native of Pennsylvania, where he attended Moravian Academy. He then studied history, philosophy, and theatre at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. He later received his M.A. in history from Lehigh University’s Atlantic World program where he focused in the Colonial, Revolutionary, and New Republic periods of American history with a heavy focus in Slavery and Native American studies. He started his teaching career as an intern with the Advanced Studies Program at the St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire, where he returned briefly as assistant director. He has taught world history and theatre at the Flintridge Preparatory School in La Canada, California, and western civilization at the Heritage Hall School of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he was the theatre’s assistant technical director.
