Kurt Christiansen
Personnel ChairKurt Christiansen joined the Culver Academies Humanities Department in the fall of 2008. He earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Indiana University Bloomington, focusing on speech communication, English, and math. Mr. Christiansen started his graduate work by completing an overseas teaching experience at Caulfield Grammar School in Melbourne, Australia. In 2006, Mr. Christiansen finished his master's in secondary education from Indiana University South Bend. Prior to Culver, Mr. Christiansen spent four years at NorthWood High School and two years at Carmel High School where he taught in the English departments and coached both football and baseball. Mr. Christiansen currently serves as an instructor of American Government.
Mr. Christiansen is the Humanities Department's personnel chair and the head coach for the varsity baseball team. Mr. Christiansen and his wife Pamela reside in Culver with their two young children, Jack, born September 2006, and Sarah, born June 2008.
