Meet The Faculty
Joshua Danforth
Joshua Danforth joined the Culver Academies’ Humanities Department in 2008. He earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of California, Davis and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His area of expertise is comparative politics. His area of study and teaching interests include ancient history, religious studies, and global humanities. He currently teaches freshman humanities. Prior to arriving at Culver Academies, he managed a humanitarian/development program in the Central African Republic.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Danforth is an assistant coach of the CGA Junior Varsity Soccer Program. Mr. Danforth and his wife Kimia Danforth reside in Culver with their daughter Madeline.
