John Uebler joined the Culver Academies Humanities Department in the fall of 2010. He earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Indiana University Bloomington, focusing on English and computer science. Prior to Culver, Mr. Uebler spent four years at NorthWood High School where he taught in the English department and coached basketball and baseball. In 2008, Mr. Uebler started his master’s in educational leadership at Indiana University Bloomington. He taught English at Owen Valley Middle School and completed an administrative practicum. In 2010, Mr. Uebler completed his master’s in educational leadership and is licensed in K-12 administration. Mr. Uebler currently serves as an instructor of Western Perspectives and is the ninth grade Level Chair.

In addition to his Culver teaching responsibilities, Mr. Uebler coaches varsity baseball and freshman basketball. He is an advisor for the football team’s academic support program, and he announces varsity football games.
